The Spirit of Giving Continues in Malta

Malta associates participated in a number of social activities held in the months of August and September to support the missions of a variety of local organizations:

Fondazzjoni Sebħ is an NGO committed to social justice and equality. It offers services to children and young people, victims and survivors of domestic violence and families in the community. The organisation has been in existence since 1956. It continues to grow and develop to keep pace with the changing needs of contemporary society.

L-R: Melanie Seychell, HR Generalist and Alex Agius, HR Manager in Malta recently presented a donation to Fondazzjoni Sebh, on behalf of the Crane Currency Malta associates. This donation was raised through fundraising events held on site, mainly cake sales.

Over 7,000 diaries were assembled by the Malta associates to help the Dar tal-Providenza. Each year the home distributes more than 165,000 diaries to households in Malta and Gozo.  The Malta site assisted by bringing in a number of these calendars to be packed by the associates themselves during their working hours.

Crane Currency Malta associates support the Puttinu Cares Foundation for the 3rd consecutive year.

The 15th edition of the Football Marathon organised by The Puttinu Cares Foundation was held between the 13th and 15th of September.  The Malta associates raised more than €2,000 this year and some also used their time to volunteer or participate in the 60-hour football marathon.

A Blood donation drive was organised by the Malta site between 27th and 29th September. Shown above are Nathalie Spiteri, Finishing Operator, and Alessandro Aquilina, Printer.
