Support for Program to Generate Interest in Manufacturing Jobs in Malta

Crane Currency Malta teamed up with the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry in its initiative to generate career interest in the manufacturing industry. The Chamber launched ‘Make it’, a campaign aimed at encouraging young people to consider a career in manufacturing. The manufacturing industry was expected to create 53 per cent of the vacancies that were anticipated to be created in the next three years.

Through this initiative two groups of Form 3 students were invited to our facility this month (May) for an orientation visit.  Students were shown around the Customer Experience Centre and were also given a presentation on banknote production.

These visits were led by Paul Fenech, Engineering Manager, together with support from both the Print and Finishing departments.
