The CRANE MALTA site has recently achieved ISO 14001:2015 – Environmental Management Systems and ISO 45001:2018 – Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems certifications by passing a rigorous audit. The facility was audited by SGS and received accreditation from ACCREDIA. SGS is the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company. They are recognized as the global benchmark for quality and integrity.
ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001: 2018 are international standards that specify requirements for environmental and occupational health and safety (OHS) management systems, with guidance for its use to enable an organisation to proactively improve its environmental performance and prevent injury and ill-health.
This is truly a great achievement on the part of all the Crane Currency Malta Ltd associates, since the achievement of this type of certification requires all associates, not just management, to demonstrate that they are fully conversant with work-related risks within their areas as well with the preventive measures in place to eliminate such risks.
